To encourage and equip Christian women and men on their journey to wellness, helping them honor God with their bodies and apply His Word to their lives.

My Story

Have you ever struggled with body image issues, working hard to lose weight so you can fit into a smaller size and look better? I certainly have!

I recall looking in the mirror as a teenager. I still saw that chubby little girl, even though pictures of myself reveal a normal-sized young woman.

So began the merry-go-round of one diet after another, losing weight and gaining it right back once the diet ended.

Eat less, exercise more, right? That’s all you have to do. I felt like a failure.

In 2017, I found the missing piece of the puzzle—the Daniel Plan. It is not a diet, but a healthy lifestyle focusing on God’s abundance, not deprivation.

No starvation diets or grueling workouts either! There are five essentials—faith, food, fitness, focus, and friends. The cornerstone of the plan is faith because we glorify God by taking care of our bodies.

God wants us to be healthy? Really? The concept blew my mind. I felt a heavy load fall from my shoulders as I realized there was a better way.

Things I love to do

Study the Bible, listen to worship music, ride my bike or walk on the greenway, visit the beach, spend time with friends and family, sit by a campfire, swim, read good books, and cook and eat fresh organic produce.
