God is waiting patiently for us to ask for what we think is impossible so that He can show His glory to us. Do you need a miracle? Is there something in God’s will that you think is impossible? Pray boldly. Nothing is impossible with God.
Gain Wisdom from God
Why study the Bible? I can think of many reasons, but because I am studying Proverbs, I naturally think of studying the Bible to gain wisdom from God. King Solomon, who wrote the book of Proverbs, was the wisest man that ever lived. When God appeared in a dream and asked Solomon what he wanted, Solomon asked for wisdom. Don’t you wish it were that easy to ask for something from God and get it? Solomon got what he asked for, and a lot more (1 Kings 3:5-14).
Find Joy in God Instead of Happiness
Instead of seeking happiness, find joy in God. Joy is anchored in God’s love, defies our circumstances, and is a choice. Trusting God and finding joy is a journey similar to the journey to wellness. Take one step at a time, one day at a time, to grow closer to God.
