God promises to bear our burdens. We receive victory and deliverance from eternal death because Jesus bore the ultimate burden of our sin on the cross. Reliance on anything or anyone other than God robs us of total dependence on Him.
“God, you’ve got the wrong person,” I said, when God told me to be a writer. I had a lot of questions. What will I write? Did God really say that? Have you ever felt unequipped to follow God’s plan for you? However, God provides for His plans and prepares us to carry them out.
God entrusts us to share the Gospel. But not only the Gospel, we are entrusted to share our testimonies—how our lives reflect the life of Jesus. What story has God entrusted to you to share so others will see Jesus in you?
Did you ever get lost and end up somewhere you never wanted to be? I remember when my GPS led me to a gravel back road in the middle of nowhere. Likewise, many bad choices led me to a place in my life I never wanted to be.
What is your favorite morning beverage? Mine is coffee! I pursued coffee and breakfast while at one of my favorite places, Lake Junaluska. Finally, I found the perfect spot called Panacea Coffee House and Café. While savoring my second cup of coffee, I noticed a bulletin board that read, “What is your panacea?”
