Why study the Bible? I can think of many reasons, but because I am studying Proverbs, I naturally think of studying the Bible to gain wisdom from God. King Solomon, who wrote the book of Proverbs, was the wisest man that ever lived. When God appeared in a dream and asked Solomon what he wanted, Solomon asked for wisdom. Don’t you wish it were that easy to ask for something from God and get it? Solomon got what he asked for, and a lot more (1 Kings 3:5-14).
